This past week the Supreme Court unexpectedly ruled against the constitutionality of President Trump's reciprocal tariffs. It was surprising given the majority of the court is conservative, with two of the justices voting against them being Trump appointees. Many Americans have been concerned that the Judiciary and Congress have been relegated to rubber stamps for an Executive bent on steamrolling them and finding every loophole possible to sidestep their legal authority.
